What’s New for the 2026 Audi SQ8?
While there are many midsize SUVs on the market today, the Audi SQ8 stands in a league of its own. It offers ample space for up to five passengers, along with a spacious cargo area for shopping trips and weekend getaways. The SQ8 is engineered to impress with an astounding combination of power and agility, and it has the looks to match. In 2026, the SQ8 is unchanged from the previous model year.
On the exterior, the SQ8 shows off immaculately sculpted side panels with well-defined haunches. The unique wheel design and a band of molding running across the lower door panels add character. The tall hood sharply rounds toward the engaging nose, which is designed with a top-to-bottom grille, triangular air inlets, and multi-elemental LED headlights. Some of the exterior features in the SQ8 are up to 23-inch wheels, summer performance tires, a tow hitch receiver, carbon fiber trim, power soft-closing doors, and other features.
The 2026 Audi SQ8 is available in two trim levels: Premium Plus and Prestige. Both have a turbo 4.0-liter, V8 gas engine. This engine delivers 500 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed transmission, and both trim levels come standard with all-wheel drive. The SQ8 is also equipped with a sport-tuned adaptive suspension system and rear-wheel steering. With the optional S Sport package, you can also benefit from active roll stabilization, red brake calipers, and a sport rear differential.
Every SQ8 is well-appointed with features like a Bang & Olufsen sound system, a hands-free power liftgate, leather upholstery with diamond accent stitching, a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, a four-zone auto climate control system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a navigation system, a wireless device charger, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, remote engine start, 8.6-inch and 10.1-inch display screens, a surround-view camera system, parking sensors, and more.
The Prestige trim adds noise-reducing side glass, massaging front seats, a head-up display, heated rear seats, automated parking assistance, and intersection assistance. Optional packages add powered rear sunshades, a leather dashboard, and red contrast stitching.
